Planning A Wedding During A Global Pandemic.

Let’s just start right away with some hard facts.

Planning a wedding is likely never an easy feat — depending on how much you decide to do yourself versus how much you decide to rely on others for. However — planning one during a pandemic is a whole different game.

Now that we are clear, let’s start. I am a #covidbride and that hashtag is likely taking over your Instagram these days. So many future brides and grooms have been struggling with replanning their weddings, so many have been stressed and concerned about what their replanning process will look like. Planning a wedding during a global pandemic adds so much more stress to the process.

Plus, with everyone replanning weddings — now the happy couples are back to square one with trying to secure their new dates, and I don’t even want to touch on all the wooden signs, Christmas ornaments and everything else that had their original date on it. Save the dates? Time to get them reprinted and sent out again. Not only is replanning a wedding a major inconvenience and likely deviating to so many — it’s also extremely costly. Save the dates, invitations and stamps alone cost hundreds of dollars (for a small wedding) — now these couples have to do it all over again.
